In 1962, the NCC in Deogiri college was established under the beacon light of 51 Maharashtra battalion Aurangabad .the capacity of this unit is 54 cadets for senior division. The training period of NCC is 3 years. The cadets have to pass 2 exam that is ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate. ‘C’ certificate holders can join Indian army without giving the written exam as well have opportunity to join SSB, CRPF, ITBP, BSF, CISF and private companies like Reliance, Sahara group in India.
Our aim is To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, sportsmanship and ideals of selfless service among the youth of the country.To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of the nation. The Deogiri college NCC department organized various social, cultural, awareness and environmental programs like;
Blood donation, Election duty, Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan.
