Home – Science is a combination of science and arts that includes all the things that concern the person, home, family members are resources.

It is the education for “Better Living “ and core of this education is the family ecosystem
Department is preparing the students to develop values & skills to promote personal family social responsibility.
Home – science students may start their career as diet consultants, Food analysis’s, Laboratory Technicians, Interior Decorator, fashion Designer, preschool/school Teacher, Subject Matter specialists, and Extension officers, Aganwadi supervisor ? Administrator & successful Entrepreneurs .
To encourage students for higher education in Home – science discipline & improve their quality of living
Enhance the students to combat the challenge of line in life in their day to day life.

To sensitize the students to understand the social-economic, Nutrition, & health, status of women & children in rural areas, to motive & equip the student towards self-employment.
To stats an enterprise ,to train the students to work in the NGO’S to enrich the knowledge of students for pursuing higher education.
Generate an appreciation & respect for our cultural heritage and traditions with critical family & its natural & manmade orientation towards social & economic advancement.
Undertake training of trainers & educators.
Give impetus to community outreach & extension.
