Introduction:
National Cadet Corps is only one of our country’s biggest youth organizations which develop Character, Discipline, Leadership, Secular, selfless service in the present Social and Political condition of our country. The main aim of NCC is to develop Nationalism, unity, leadership, power and discipline among the cadets, so that they should become officer in different defense services.
Deogiri College, Aurangabad established NCC in the year 1962 under 51 Maharashtra Battalion. There are 2 units of NCC in Deogiri College: NCC Boys and NCC Girls each having 54 intakes. Through NCC cadets are made aware of the drill, difference weapons and information about wars, people protection, map reading, leadership, health, hygiene and national integration. Along with this NCC cadets of Deogiri college shows there active participation in different social programs such as plantation, cleanliness, awareness rallies etc. NCC with their motto of unity and discipline has been carving the social moral value of the cadets enrolled.
