Chemistry is an inevitable heart-core science in the development of human life. It is involved in the continual advancement of technology.
The department of chemistry of Deogiri College, Aurangabad has a well-qualified and highly experience teaching staff. The department is enriched with four practical laboratories, a separate research laboratory along with a facility of the central research lab.

The department of chemistry of Deogiri College was established in 1960 and currently offers the following courses:

• Ph. D. in Chemistry
• M. Sc.- Organic and Analytical Chemistry
• B. Sc. With chemistry and analytical chemistry as the optional subjects
• Certificate Course for Lab Assistant and Diploma Course for Lab Chemist
• Short Term Course in Advanced Instruments

Besides teaching-learning process, the staff members of chemistry department are highly engaged in administration and research. The department motivates and ignites the minds of students through several co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities for students such as :-
