Mathematics play important role in the development of human life. The department of mathematics of Deogiri College was established in 1960. Department of Mathematics is offering B.Sc. Mathematics degree course under UG program since 1960 and M.Sc. Mathematics degree course under PG program 2014 and is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Aurangabad. Now the department has two teaching faculty at UG level and three teaching faculty at PG level. Department has striven to set high standards of teaching. The department has succeeded in this Endeavour and over the years, it has produce highly qualified and motivated mathematicians to provide leadership in educational institutions. Graduate of this department are distinctively placed in reputed institutions and organizations. Department motivates and ignites the minds of students through several co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students.
