Welcome to Department of Zoology
The Department of Zoology is one of the oldest department in the college and established in 1960. The M. Sc. Zoology course is introduced in the department since, 2009. The department has Museum and preserved numerous species of animals. At present, it has spacious and well equipped laboratories with advance instrumentation for biological studies, of which one is an ICT enabled. The department also maintained small library supplementary to the central library of college.
The department also has a separate research laboratory for carrying out research work including the M. Sc. Dissertation work.
The Department is a recognized Research Center by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and actively engaged in research work in the field of Entomology, Physiology, Parasitology and Molecular Biology.
The department has major and minor research projects funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi and Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad.
